Free Rice is an online internet game that donates 20 grains of rice to the World Food Programme (WFP) for every word that is correctly defined.
WFP, the United Nations frontline organization fighting hunger, distributes the rice to the hungry. WFP uses the donations from the site to purchase rice locally, both feeding people in need and stimulating local economies.
